DRAGON-I

For our project, we had visit many different type of restaurant. We had visit one of the restaurant which is famous and specialized in China food, the restaurant is  “Dragon-I”.

Dragon-I (龙的传人)

First, we need to some introduction about this restaurant.

According to Dragon-I official website, slogan of this restaurant is “where a memorable culinary experience awaits.”

This restaurant was established in 2004, the first Dragon-I outlet opened at Mid Valley Megamall. Dragon-I inspired by the rich and diverse culinary offerings from China, especially from the regions of Shanghai, Szechuan, Beijing and Lanzhou. Each dish is prepared by highly-skilled chefs from mainland China using top quality ingredients. This is to ensure authenticity in both presentation and taste.

“LONG TI CHUAN REN”, this is the Chinese name of the restaurant. This name is derived from a combination of phonetics and facts. The Chinese word “LONG” is means “Dragon” in Chinese meaning. But for the restaurant, the strokes for the character “LONG” represent that of the restaurant’s signature delicacy, the xiao “long” bao.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday morning (22/04/2012). There are many outlet in different shopping mall. So, we decided to choose the restaurant which is located in Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur.

When we first entered the restaurant, we felt the atmosphere in restaurant is relaxable. The interior design of the restaurant is elegant. We were saying “Wow” when we first saw the restaurant. The beautiful looking restaurant makes us want to stay in the restaurant in a longer time.
Inside Of The Restaurant
We also saw some China terracotta warriors stand neatly at the side of restaurant, they looks like full of power and grandeur.

After we took a seat, a beautiful waitress walked gracefully to our table and gave menu book to us. There are many food, and we even can’t decided to order what. At last, we ordered the restaurant’s signature delicacy, Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) and Beijing Ramen (also known as Jia Jiang Mian).

While we were waiting for our food, we ate some side dish such as the wet peanuts. Honestly, it taste normal but it is good to eat some side dish before we had our meal.

After a few minutes, our food was finally out. The waitress put the food on the table. It looks nice and we were can’t wait to finished it!

The Meal That We Ordered
We ate the Beijing Ramen first. Ervin helped others to stir the noodles with the unique sauce that already in the bowl. The ramen taste delicious! We finished the ramen in a short of time.

Then, we ate the famous dishes in this restaurant- Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumpling. We heard our parents said that before we eat the dumpling, we should peep the dumpling because inside the dumpling have soup. These dumpling are traditionally filled with pork.

After we finished our meal, we decided to leave the restaurant and took bill for our meal. Our meal costs RM 39.20. It’s a normal price in Kuala Lumpur with such a delicious meal!

This restaurant is good with relaxable and clean environment, helpful waiter and waitress and delicious China food. If we have a chance to vote this restaurant as best China food restaurant, we will definitely vote it! Because it deserve to be voting.

When someone asking us any recommended China food restaurant in town, we will recommend this restaurant!
